Seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition Systems & Processes to lead on the operational and systems processes within the Talent Acquisition function of a large global matrix organisation. Leading the Talent Acquisition Operations team, the role will be responsible for ensuring excellence in the delivery of end-to-end Recruitment processes which are executed by both the internal Talent Acquisition teams and RPO Partnerships. The role reports to the Director of Workforce Operations and is a leadership role in team.

The role will need to ensure efficient and cost-effective recruitment processes which include the management and development of supporting technology platforms. The key outcomes are heavily aligned to providing an excellent candidate journey which meets both the immediate and long-term strategic objectives of our business and positions the organisation as an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

  • Focus on continual improvement, development and evolution of recruitment processes ensuring these are clearly defined and well communicated to relevant parties
  • Provide expert advice re recruitment processes and ensure effective implementation which will include compliance with data privacy legislation, data storage and controls and delivery against firm wide agendas such as Inclusion and Diversity
  • Own the risk profile of the team, particularly related to compliance with all ISQM and robust assessment controls
  • Provide insights based upon analysis of data to inform recruitment strategy
  • Act as escalation point for candidate and business system and process issues – working with all relevant teams including legal to resolve as necessary
  • Ownership of recruitment IT/systems and the interdependent recruitment relationships (including TA Business Partners, People Operations, People Analytics, Brand & Attraction etc.)
  • Ongoing performance and efficiency review of current systems and project management of upgrades, enhancements, changes to functionality, and MI /policy led changes
  • Oversight of production of recruitment management information and reporting – ensuring that data produced is accurate and meets business needs
  • Develop supplier strategy in conjunction with procurement, this will include the management of current contracts with suppliers ensuring that tools, systems, and supplier services are available as required to support recruitment strategy
  • Monitor costs v. budget and ensure smooth processes for payment and/or cross charging of 3rd party costs

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience of managing internal recruitment processes ideally gained within a complex organisation with multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment and/or workflow systems (Success Factors and ServiceNow would be an advantage)
  • Prior experience in leading large scale technical and operational transformation programmes
  • Experienced in working with an outsourced RPO provider focusing on relationship management, process improvement and governance structures
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix management structure, with the ability to influence and direct teams who do not report directly into this role
