I am seeking a highly commercial HR Business Partner for a 9 month contract with a global financial services organisation. Based in London but with an international remit, financial services experience is key to the role.

Key areas of focus:

Drive performance management.

Partner with the Recruitment function and the business to deliver lateral and campus recruitment strategy, hiring plans, candidate sourcing and offer approvals.

Talent management activities that will include conducting annual review of talent pool and succession planning, manage top talent retention, identify and plan for internal mobility opportunities.

Leadership Development activities such as partnering with the Learning & Development team to identify and implement solutions to address key gaps in technical or soft skill capabilities. Optimise organisational effectiveness and leadership capabilities to grow the business, through organisational design, executive coaching, leadership off-sites.

Partner with Employee Relations to proactively identify and manage ER.

Analyse employee satisfaction survey results and partner with the business to action plan on key opportunities.

Partner with HR data analysts to deliver the HR data and reporting requirements of the business.

Experience

  • Prior experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a large global financial services organisation.
  • Ability to identify an issue and design a creative solution to solve.
  • Commercial acumen and willingness to learn the business of the client group.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to challenge, influence and persuade others.
  • Excellent analytical skills and sound judgement.

  • Senior Platform Services Analyst

    Senior Platform Services Analyst – London – Hybrid


    A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
    Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.


    Responsibilities:

    • Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
    • Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
    • Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
    • Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately
    • Daily interaction with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
    • Efficiently create and track issues within an incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
    • Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
    • Assist with product testing and project work


    Skills:

    • At least 3 years hands-on support experience within a financial institution (buy-side, sell-side, venue/platform provider)
    • Proven experience of MSSQL, Oracle and Sybase database environments, including complex query-writing
    • Solid application support experience within a Unix / Linux environment
    • Good working knowledge of the FIX protocol
    • Proven experience of supporting Windows Server environments
    • Experience in troubleshooting network problems: i.e. firewall and routing problems
    • Good understanding of international Equity market mechanics and flows


    Desirable:

    • Exposure to supporting message-based architecture
    • Working knowledge of at least one buy-side or sell-side Order Management System
    • Good understanding of Fixed Income market mechanics and flows
    • Experience with industry-standard monitoring tools (ITRS or similar)

    Senior Algo Support – London – Hybrid


    A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Algo Support to join their team in London.
    Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.


    Responsibilities:

    • Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal trade desks, escalating to development teams appropriately
    • Fulfilling client customisation requests within algorithmic trading systems and MTF platform
    • Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and post-trade issues
    • Managing team chats, queues, and mailboxes to ensure requests are being actioned in a timely manner with appropriate prioritization
    • Ensuring incident and problem management procedures are followed and performing analysis to determine trends and patterns
    • Assist with product testing and project work
    • Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
    • Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region

    Skills:
