About the HTML/Javascript Developer - Investment Bank Greenfield role:

My client is an investment bank based in London.

They are seeking an experienced UI web developer to join them in a build out of two brand new systems. It is completely Greenfield as it is a new area. They are currently the only investment bank doing cutting edge work like this. The stack of the system is HTML, Reactjs, Java 8, Microservices and Oracle. HTML and Javascript (ideally React) are the key skills for this role, although the candidate must have a willingness to work on the server side if needed. They work in an agile environment and have planned releases every 2 weeks. Someone that has built a web system from scratch would be well suited to this position.

  • Solution Architect (GCP)
    £500 - £650 per day

    An opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect (GCP) to work for a large Energy client based in London. This is an initial contract position.

    The role:

    GCP (Google Cloud Platform) API Strategy and Management, Cloud Security around API Strategy, QA Wrap Around the first two. Offshore Scrum: to support onsite roles Responsible for the team management

    Key Requirements

    • Hands-on experience deploying data analytics solutions in GCP using BigQuery/Datastore/DataProc/Cloud storage.
    • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments (such as Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, etc).
    • Strong understanding of data analytics tools, packages, etc.
    • Knowledge of RESTful API design and asynchronous and concurrent systems.
    • Create and manage Identity and Access Management standards and policies
    • Experience with Elastic stack/ELK
    • Python Scripting and .NET knowledge preferred
    • Familiarity with Cloud Services. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the GCP Data Services experience is a major plus
    • GCP certified Architect Preferred.
    • It would be great to have any experience with API management platforms like Apigee or Azure API Management to help the customer to choose the proper solution for their needs.
