Business Analyst (AVP)


Summary of Programme / Project:
This Business Analyst will be working within the Employee Compliance Programme, which aims to deliver a series of solutions that allow employee information to be gathered, consolidated and displayed enabling the risk the employee presents to the bank to be understood and appropriate controls to be applied.

There are two projects under the Programme:

Employee Conduct Activities: Delivering workflow solutions for employees to declare their Outside Activities, Trade Association Memberships and Connected Party information so that these can be reviewed, and appropriate action recommended to avoid any Conflict of Interest.

Population Management: Deriving attributes about an employee from existing HR data sets, including whether they need to have their communications recorded, whether they can receive market sensitive information and whether they are a Material Risk Taker. Delivery of the consolidated employee view so that all employee information can be presented together.

This Business Analyst may work across any of the two Employee Compliance projects.


Notes of requirements:

Requirement for a Business Analyst who has experience of:
  • Delivering projects using the Agile transformation methodology
  • Facilitation of testing of deliverables (UAT and end-to-end testing)
  • Writing and refining business requirements as User Stories
  • Preparing communications & training materials
  • Management of project stakeholders
  • Ability to link between business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience of working in financial institutions (preferred)

  • Legal Consultant - Derivatives & Loans

    Legal Consultant - Derivatives & Loans


    Key Responsibilities:

    In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for Legal input into the EMEA IBOR Programme across the business under a dual-hat arrangement. The role will include the following key areas of responsibility:
    • Advise on the review and remediation of contracts referencing LIBOR.
    • Advise on new RFRs and transactions adopting these rates
    • Advise on legal and regulatory issues arising as a result of LIBOR transition.
    • Supporting and advising on internal and external communications
    • Identify and advise on legal and regulatory and market developments arising under IBOR transition and the impact on the Firm and international business.
    • Liaising with the EMEA IBOR Programme and other stakeholders and ensuring completion of Legal deliverables to the IBOR Programme.
    • Coordinating with coverage lawyers in EMEA Legal team and international Legal team.
    • Providing updates and briefings for stakeholders including management.

    Skills and Experience:
    • University degree or equivalent.
    • Qualified as a solicitor with 5+ years PQE with demonstrable experience in regulation, regulatory change.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
    • Experience in reviewing and negotiating OTC, exchange traded and/or structured derivative transactions. Reviewing and negotiating LIBOR amendments to existing derivative agreements is beneficial.
    • Good understanding of standard industry master agreements such as ISDAs, GMRAs and GMSLAs (including ISDA definitional booklets and the ISDA IBOR Protocol).
    • Experience in reviewing and negotiating bilateral, syndicated loans, structured loans and linked loans. Reviewing and negotiating LIBOR amendments to existing loan agreements is beneficial.
    • Good understanding of standard industry agreements such as LMA (requirement) and LSTA (helpful).
    • Good understanding of regulatory framework, primarily EMIR.
    • Stakeholder management.

  • Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
    £65000 - £90000 per annum + + benefits + bonus

    Permanent role

    Salary - £65-90k (+ benefits + bonus)

    We are working exclusively with a Fortune 500 company.

    They are looking for several Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to work on projects within their Innovation Lab in London.

    The team's primary responsibility is to develop capabilities that allow application teams to improve reliability and accelerate software delivery.

    The work involves writing APIs in Java and node.js, Kubernetes Operators in Go, and Ansible playbooks.

    Essential

    • Site Reliability Engineer background (or something similar)
    • Programming experience in at least one of Java, JavaScript or Golang
    • Experience in development, deployment and operation of software applications
