The Head of People Admin Services sits as an integral part of the HR Operations Leadership team. The People Admin Services team provides all pay and people related administration for 22,000 employees across the UK and Ireland. This includes specialist administration services to Reward, People Development, Fleet and global mobility and pay administration. The Head of People Admin Services will lead a team of Managers and administrators to deliver a high quality and efficient admin service for all pay and people related administration.

The ideal candidate will carry out:

  • Effectively lead, manage, engage, develop and motivate your team to provide a first-class service
  • Manage overall workload and resources to deliver against SLA’s and Quality measures.
  • Ensure compliance in all processes, ensuring CRSA controls are effective and being adhered to
  • Ensure the delivery of a joined up, seamless service, with minimal hand-off for our customers across all the HR Operations teams including Payroll, Recruitment Services and the Advice teams
  • Using your knowledge of our systems and processes, develop and deliver a continuous improvement plan to ensure ongoing efficiency and delivery of service levels, leveraging technology and automation wherever it makes sense.
  • Define, roll out and track progress against the strategic goals and objectives for the People Admin service function
  • Ensure that resources are effectively planned and managed to achieve optimum productivity and delivery of Service Level Agreements.
  • Continually develop the managers and administrators to ensure they have the right knowledge, skills and expertise levels required to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Accountable for ensuring escalated complex queries are investigated and resolved and any learnings are part of the CI plan and ensure stakeholders are effectively and taking decisive action
  • Work with audit to ensure all pay impacting process have effective CRSA controls in place and are always adhered to.

Essential Skills for the role (minimum criteria)

  • Experienced in leading a high performing HR Operational team
  • Customer focused, putting the customers at the Heart of everything we do
  • Extensive People Management experience, managing managers
  • Has previously led all aspects of high-volume operational delivery function including Resource and Workload management, Continuous Improvement and Quality Framework)
  • A track record of using data and analysis to make decision and drive performance
  • Excellent knowledge of policies, process and employment legislation

  • HRIS Global Lead - Workday

    I am seeking an HRIS Lead with extensive Workday experience to join a large, global highly matrix organisation to manage the technical operations and data management of all HR Systems predominantly around Workday. This role will have the lead on all aspects of the Workday system including leading on the Workday HR System configuration, enhancement, audit and deployment. You will act as the interface with core business stakeholders and Workday to optimisation of use, so you will need to be strong as both a technical expert and programme lead.
    Core Responsibilities:

    • Partner with HR, IT, and Business project sponsors to bring definition to HRIS Projects; create project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements and timelines.
    • Develop project plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic HR initiatives, distribute work among team members, set expectations, and relentlessly drive to deliver projects with excellence, on time and on budget.
    • Ensure effective interaction with HR specialty functions, finance/payroll and information technology based on assigned responsibilities. Assist in prioritizing and delivering on overall Global HR Solutions work activities.
    • Facilitate problem-solving activities to define problems, assess current state root causes, design and test solutions, and implement solutions leading to desired outcomes tied to business results
    • Configure, enhance, and support various Workday modules including payroll, absence tracking and time tracking.
    • Partner closely with business and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.
    • Lead continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations and data integrity.
    • Maintain and administer Workday security groups, foundational tables, and all Workday inbound and outbound integrations.
    • Model and ensure excellent communication across all stakeholder groups. Collaborate with members of the Global HR solutions management team to help ensure completeness of overall service delivery.

    Experience required:

    • Extensive expertise in managing Workday in a global environment including direct responsibility for integrations, reporting and analytics.
    • Extensive experience of managing enterprise HR Management Systems
    • Workday Partner or Customer Pro certifications advantageous, including Integrations, Studio, Security Reporting & Analytics
    • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
    • Demonstrated successful application of project management methodology, tools, and best practices
    • Exceptional people skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.

    My client a consultancy in Belgium, are seeking a Project Manager to work on a large customer experience CX project. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing CX work-stream activity as well as ensuring the implementation of deliverables.
