Job title: Ion MarketView & Fixed Income Specialist
Rate: £830 per day
Here is an excellent opportunity to join one of the worlds leading investment banks in a contracting capacity. You will be working in areas such as Fixed income, order management, trade capture flows and pricing so good experience in the aforementioned will be highly desirable to our client.
Your day to day will include:
-Designing MIFID stress – testing for Ion gateways
-L3 support for the STT and ION platforms
-Designing and delivering latency monitoring systems for RFQ’s and orders
-Developing tools in C#
-Provide best practices for development teams on API IFC ION
-Stress testing price contribution for Rates
-Design custom automation deployment solutions for ION and TREP components
-Tech stack: ION platform tools and gateways, ION API, C#, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Rundeck, Nexus, Elastic search

-Expert in Ion MarketView and Fixed Income
-Good exposure to Rates, Credit and Repo trading environment
-DevOps knowledge
-Proficiency in C#, C++, Python and Java

Senior Platform Services Analyst
Senior Platform Services Analyst – London – Hybrid
A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
- Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
- Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately
- Daily interaction with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
- Efficiently create and track issues within an incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns

Skills:

- Good working knowledge of the FIX protocol
- Proven experience of supporting Windows Server environments

- Good understanding of international Equity market mechanics and flows
Desirable:
- Exposure to supporting message-based architecture
- Working knowledge of at least one buy-side or sell-side Order Management System
- Good understanding of Fixed Income market mechanics and flows

Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal trade desks, escalating to development teams appropriately
- Fulfilling client customisation requests within algorithmic trading systems and MTF platform
- Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and post-trade issues
