This is an opportunity for an ION MarketView Platform Specialist to work as part of a global eTrading development team.

The role involves hands-on configuration, integration, and testing of ION eTrading components and platform re-engineering.

The specialist will work with business stakeholders in trading, sales, and COO teams and be responsible for implementing changes and upgrades to the platform.

The ION Platform Specialist role requires:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ION MarketView, including detailed knowledge of MMI .NET, D2C & D2D Connectivity Gateways, TOMS, PXE, REFDATA, VMO, VMQ, and Run List Manager
  • Experience with ION perfmeter and RTD monitoring and tuning, and platform re-engineering, tuning and ION failover setup
  • Knowledge of the Fixed Income trading environment in Rates and/or Credit businesses
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in a complex trading environment, including pricing and trade capture issues
  • Strong Linux experience, including shell scripting and python scripting
  • Experience with source control systems, particularly GIT and maven build & packaging
  • Ability to write documentation, user guides, and perform regular demos
  • Ability to run projects end-to-end without monitoring
  • Commitment to regulatory and business conduct, including understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
