McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IOS Developer to join a dynamic financial services organization focused on modernization and customer experience, bringing financial services into the 21st century. This is a permanent opportunity.

You will join a fast-paced and growing team based in their flagship office in Glasgow city centre, developing new features and functionality for their existing portfolio of applications. You will contribute to design, architecture and functionality decisions and will also be involved in Proof of Concept developments where innovation is encouraged.

There is also opportunity to take on a Technical Lead position for the right candidate.

Experience Required:

  • Commercial experience of developing iOS applications
  • Swift experience
  • Cocoapods libraries experience would be beneficial
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • A strong grasp of automation, continuous integration, test-driven development and continuous refactoring
  • Experience interfacing with microserivces and (REST/JSON)
  • Experience of source control systems and associated strategies
  • Knowledge of integrating with Web Apps and Hybrid App development

    McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join a fast-growing and dynamic technology consultancy organisation based from their office in Nottingham.

    You will join a dynamic, agile team which rewards innovation and will be encouraged to challenge normal ways of working and drive forward technical advancements. You will work across the full SDLC from requirement gathering through design, development and testing and will utilize both your technical skills and your softer skills like communication and stakeholder management.

    They are building cutting-edge payments solutions using technologies including Java 8+, Spring, Hibernate, SpringBoot, and Jenkins. They are cloud focused and currently using AWS and Azure solutions and are also passionate about Test Driven Development (TDD) and owning the quality of your code.

    Experience Required:

    • 2+ years of commercial Core Java Development experience, ideally using Java 8 or above
    • Open Source technologies e.g. Spring, Hibernate
    • Microservices using SpringBoot
    • Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
    • Test Driven Development (TDD)
