McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IOS Developer to join a dynamic media organization with a passion for modernization and customer experience, breaking the status quo with their innovative solutions. This is a permanent opportunity.

You will join a fast-paced and growing team based in their flagship office in Glasgow city centre, developing new features and functionality for their existing portfolio of digital applications. You will contribute to design, architecture and functionality decisions and will also be involved in Proof of Concept developments where innovation is encouraged.

There is also opportunity to take on a Technical Lead position for the right candidate.

Experience Required:

  • Commercial experience of developing iOS applications
  • Swift experience
  • Cocoapods libraries experience would be beneficial
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • A strong grasp of automation, continuous integration, test-driven development and continuous refactoring
  • Experience interfacing with microserivces and (REST/JSON)
  • Experience of source control systems and associated strategies
  • Knowledge of integrating with Web Apps and Hybrid App development

  • HRIS Global Lead - Workday
    Negotiable

    I am seeking an HRIS Lead with extensive Workday experience to join a large, global highly matrix organisation to manage the technical operations and data management of all HR Systems predominantly around Workday – Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence. This role will have the lead on all aspects of the Workday system for these platforms including leading on the Workday HR System configuration, enhancement, audit and deployment. You will act as the interface with core business stakeholders and Workday to optimisation of use, so you will need to be strong as both a technical expert and programme lead.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Partner with HR, IT, and Business project sponsors to bring definition to HRIS Projects; create project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements and timelines.
    • Design solutions and build system configurations to support functional requirements
    • Analyse and assess impact of Workday releases and modify systems as necessary around payroll, absence and time tracking.
    • Test planning, implementation and follow-up for configuration changes and systems enhancements
    • Collaborate with internal HR and Payroll teams as well as 3rd party partners to gather and document detailed requirements for system improvements and the development of new technology
    • Ensure effective interaction with HR specialty functions, finance/payroll and information technology based on assigned responsibilities. Assist in prioritizing and delivering on overall Global HR Solutions work activities.
    • Partner closely with business and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.
    • Lead continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations and data integrity.
    • Maintain and administer Workday security groups, foundational tables, and all Workday inbound and outbound integrations.
    • Model and ensure excellent communication across all stakeholder groups. Collaborate with members of the Global HR solutions management team to help ensure completeness of overall service delivery.

    Experience required:

    • Extensive expertise in managing Workday in a global environment with meaningful experience of configuration / build experience
    • Proficient in Workday absence plan design and configuration, Workday time tracking design and configuration, and Workday payroll design and configuration as well as related business process configuration in support of owned functions
    • Hands-on experience in reporting, calculated fields, and security
    • Extensive experience of managing enterprise HR Management Systems
    • Relationship management is mix of external and internal customers: HR and Payroll teams, 3rd party vendors / suppliers and global HR community
    • Workday Partner or Customer Pro certifications advantageous, including Integrations, Studio, Security Reporting & Analytics
    • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
    • Demonstrated successful application of project management methodology, tools, and best practices
    • Exceptional people skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.

    My client, a large Investment Bank in Birmingham are seeking a Business Analyst to work on their Open Banking initiative. The Business Analyst will need to provide outstanding analysis as well as showing a flexible approach as their are multiple Open Banking initiatives that they could be working on at any given time.

    The Business Analyst will need to be a Strong communicator and engage and consult stakeholders throughout the programme of work.
