Technology Controls Officer

Tech Control Officer (VP)

My international banking client is looking to bring a Tech Control Officer into their Belfast office. This is a contract; 3 months long (provisionally)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating Business as usual activities; managing Risk/Control activities
  • Coordinating the technical components of internal and external audits.
  • Identifying control shortcomings, through self-assessment testing, risk initiatives and BAU meetings. Furthermore, you’ll be reporting and documenting on the trend analysis and initiatives to senior audit.
  • Coordinating the CAP management process

Essential Skills:

  • Experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager
  • 7+ years’ experience in Audit, Information Security/Risk Management
  • Experience of Risk Assessment Self-Assessment/Managers Control Assessment
  • ITIL experience
  • Certifications; CISA, CISSP and PMP
  • Degree required
  • Strong in Microsoft programs; Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint

  • Delivery Manager - Agile - SDLC (permanent)
    £40000 - £55000 per annum benefits bonus

    A rapidly growing Consultancy firm seeks an IT Delivery Manager to work with them on one of a number of different accounts with specific focus on Software Delivery projects within an Agile environment.

    Therefore it is essential that all applicants have prior experience of working on Software Development (SDLC) projects. You will also have exposure to working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum or Kanban).

    On a day to day basis you will be involved in -

    • Co-ordinating the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work;
    • Participating in new business development;

  • VP Credit Analyst

    Leading International Bank in UAE is looking to appoint a Vice President - Credit Analyst (Large Corporates / Structured Trade Finance / ECA Finance / Syndication Loans).

    Location: Dubai, UAE

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To assume full responsibility of corporate credit origination process to develop new trade finance businesses (including export finance and commodity finance) in Middle East and maintain existing portfolio.
    • To take leading role of corporate credit analysis of the group partially taking responsibility of the Team Head.
    • To take care of credit monitoring, preparation of credit application, presenting the proposal to internal stakeholders and preparing the underlying documentation of proposed facility.
    • Lead and be responsible for corporate credit Trade Finance portfolio working closely with Senior Relationship Managers and Group Head
    • Conduct credit monitoring and prepare credit applications and facility documentation in line with internal credit policies and procedures and in close liason with Head office (London)
    • Monitor the situation of countries and industries which are covered by the group and share the relevant information with group members and management

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • At least 8 -10 years of strong expertise in corporate credit analysis in wider industries while FI credit coverage is an advantage.
    • Extensive experience in handling large corporate trade finance facilities including export finance and commodity finance in terms of credit and documentation process.
    • International banking experience is a must
