Key skills required:

  • Extensive experience in Java 7/8
  • Solid understanding of SQL(DB2 or Oracle)
  • Knowledge of Spring or Hibernate framework
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Extensive Evidence of messaging technologies such as; MQ,KAFKA/ACTIVE MQ



This is a 6 month initial contract, paying up to £400 per day.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Service Operations Specialist with AWS experience to join a global financial services client in London.

    You will provide 2nd and 3rd line operational management of the IT infrastructure and systems. You will support and develop a wide variety of systems and technologies including Enterprise AWS and On-Premise server environments, Virtualisation platforms, Authentication and Configuration management services.

  • Employee Relations Advisor
    £500 - £550 per day

    I am seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to cover a 6 month interim contract to support the HR Partners and key business stakeholders on all aspects of employee relations, policy and legislation within an investment management organisation.

    Core responsibilities include:

    • Ensuring the effective manager of ER-related risks (legal, financial and reputations for employee relations including disciplinary, grievances, litigation case management, restructures/reorganisations and performance management
    • Act as the internal escalation and expert on all aspects of ER and build effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
    • Ensure all ER strategy, policies and processes are compliant with legislation and tie in effectively with both commercial and functional HR requirements
    • Apply and utilise ER metrics to offer sound solutions and manage risk
    • Assist with project management that may include M&A activity or reorganisation exercises as required, including any related redundancy exercises

    Key skills & experience required:

    • Qualified up to degree level or equivalent
    • Demonstrable Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner with substantial ER experience
    • Extensive experience of UK employment law and/or working as an employee relations specialist within the UK, in a fast paced business environment, working within Investment Management or Financial Services
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrable stakeholder engagement with excellent consultative skills
    • Strong analytical mindset and skills to take meaningful information and interpret to support the business
    • Ability to deal with multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment
    • High level credibility and confidentiality, with the sensitivity and diplomacy to deal effectively with challenging situations.

C++ Developer (STL / Boost / C#)

Senior C++ Developer required for leading global client. You'll be developing new features for both server side and feature rich user interface components, as well assisting with ongoing maintenance.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record of delivering great code and results in a fast moving enterprise environment.

Must have experience includes:

  • C++98 (C++11 or C++17)
  • STL / BOOST
  • SQL - Either SQL Server or Sybase
  • Any NoSQL experience is a plus (e.g. Mongo DB)
