IT Business Analyst - OTC Derivatives - Clearing (contract)

£60000 - £75000 per annum benefits bonus

A leading financial services company seeks a IT Business Analyst to work within their OTC clearing business line which sits within a structured software development environment.

The BA will join the company during an exciting period of change. Therefore it is essential that all applicants have prior experience of working as an IT Business Analyst with specific OTC derivatives (pre and post trade) and Clearing knowledge.

As this is a Business Analyst position you will be expected to perform the following duties on a day to day basis –

  • Document both business processes and IT requirements according to the standards of the team
  • Capture and document clear business requirements
  • Work with key stakeholders to design solutions to requirements
  • Translate business requirements into accurate functional requirements specifications which either allow internal IT teams or vendors
  • Provide weekly status updates on project status to Project Manager(s)
  • Deliver high quality work adhering to internal standards

You will also be liaising with a number of key stakeholders and separate business functions within the organisation, this is where your OTC Derivative and Clearing experience will be utilised.
