IT Change Project Manager
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering technology change projects to join a growing, multi-national private healthcare organization who is passionate about using technology to improve patient care and quality of life around the world.
You will join an existing team of Project Managers based in Glasgow working on a 3-5 year global project which will see a major internal transformation of the internal applications used within the business. You will work across all workstreams with particular focus on the business change impact that this major transformation will entail.
You will be responsible for the coordination, status reporting and management of a cross-functional work stream, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations. You will take on the responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of the change plan which will break down tasks, milestones, key task dependencies and resource allocations. You will work closely with all Workstream Leads and ensure change management metrics align.
Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience within a Project Manager position delivering large-scale IT application transformation projects within an Agile framework
  • Experience of delivering a business change project and managing the impact on the business
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience of working on concurrent business and IT projects

    Job Profile Summary

    Reporting to the Global Head of Assessment, the Assessment Manager is responsible for implementing and leading projects that progress the companys assessment agenda and enhance the quality of the long-term talent pipeline across all disciplines and functions. The role will also deputise for the Global Head of Assessment.

    This role will manage projects focused on developing tools and approaches that have the flexibility to adapt to business requirements across all levels, businesses and geographies in order to provide an innovative and customer centric assessment process for our new joiners and internal candidates alike. The role will also focus on supporting the Global Head of Assessment in ensuring future success and driving modern, innovative and leading-edge practices in assessment.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Support the business in the delivery of high quality, value-adding assessments
    • Design and project manage the design of new assessment tools and approaches to ensure that assessment projects are prioritised and implemented with high quality, high value and at pace
    • Help to define assessment standards, guidance and criteria for volume, specialist and senior roles across all functions and disciplines with a focus on evolving skill-sets e.g. digital
    • Ensure that all assessment approaches are inclusive, free of bias and are supportive of our D&I ambitions. Use analytics to determine potential for adverse impact
    • Input into the creation of assessment tools and approaches that are relevant for both passive and active candidates, ensuring ‘design for experience’ for all candidate types
    • Lead the design of assessment centres to support early careers and programmatic hiring ensuring design meets requirements
    • Support in the review of assessment campaigns and validation studies to ensure assessments are predictive of performance in roles
    • Gather feedback from internal and external partners to continuously improve assessment tools and programmes
    • Support the Global Head of Assessment in developing networks of technical and assessment professionals, internal and external to the company, to bring forth best practices and learning to continuously drive excellence in assessment
    • Proactively share insight into assessment best practice and developing trends to educate others and drive more modern, innovative assessment approaches across BP to ensure future capability and diversity requirements are met
    • Provide targets and metrics to track success of programmes, including insights on candidate experience and implement continuous review and improvement
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HRIS and Group Talent teams to ensure assessment programs integrate and align with broader people processes and HR deliverables to unlock human energy and deliver a talent pool of high performing, engaged and motivated employees and external candidates


    Essential Experience and Job Requirements

    • Proven expertise in selection and assessment tools and methodologies and good understanding of current and emerging assessment approaches e.g. immersive assessment, virtual reality, AI, gamification
    • Strong project management skills and evidence of delivering significant assessment projects globally across multiple job types and levels
    • Highly motivated with a passion for assessment and a commitment to continuous improvement and assessment ‘design for experience’
    • Ability to learn the business quickly and succeed in a complex, highly matrixed environment through influence and the building of effective relationships at all levels within the organisation
    • Digital mindset and fluency across multiple assessment tools


    Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

    • Business Psychologist (ideally Occupational Psychology) to MSc level
    • Chartered status or equivalent PhD
    • Experience of both in-house and supplier/consultancy environments
    • Experience of working in an international business

    This London based proprietary trading firm is looking to recruit a highly-skilled Python Developer on a permanent basis. This is a Python Software Engineering role with a primary focus on the development of a high -performance trading system; covering all aspects of the software development process: regular communication with stakeholders, up front analysis and development

    Required;

    - Excellent technical knowledge in back end / server side Python with strong foundations covering OO design, data structures, algorithms and real-time, multithreaded applications

    My Client, a large financial services company in London are seeking a strong Market Data Project Manager who will be fully responsible for the direction, implementation and coordination of multiple projects whilst aligned to the central PMO guidelines. The Project manager will need to perform some business analysis at times and will work very closely with the Data & Analytics team.
