IT Service Desk Support Analyst

Location: Greenock (some travel to Glasgow)

This role will be based in Greenock, but would be expected to travel to Glasgow as and when required.The successful candidate will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for technology and service.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to onsite and remote users.
  • Manage / monitor IT Service Desk Incidents via call management system.
  • Prioritise and allocate within IT Support teams all requests.
  • Manage User system access for various applications.
  • Complete user password resets on various applications.
  • Identify ways to improve the quality of the service provided and / or the efficiency of the processes within the IT Service desk.

Required Skills (Essential):

  • Three years within support team.
  • Experience Supporting and Troubleshooting Users in a Virtual Desktop Environment, specifically Citrix XenDesktop
  • Windows 7 / 10 support and build experience. ( both OS and pc hardware)
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP experience.
  • SCCM Experience
  • Exchange 2013 / account maintenance.
  • Incident management skills
  • Experience with a call management system
  • Experience with both Office 2010/2013/2016
  • Experience with Networking/Patching/Server Support

    Our client, a Tier 1 investment management group is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to join the team based in the London on a 12 month fix-term basis.

    Main duties and purpose of the role:

    To work within the data management team to enhance existing and implement a new data warehouse technology across the Enterprise platform.

    Expert experiences required:

    • Microsoft SQL Server SSAS (Tabular and OLAP) SSIS SSRS

  • Java Developers-Contract-Edinburgh up to £400 p/d

    I am looking for Java Developers (Contract) for an innovative FinTech business with offices based in central Edinburgh. This will be a long-term contract offering a daily rate in a region of £350-£400 (DOE). If you have evidence of extensive work covering full Software Development Life-cycle using Java technical stack, this opportunity will allow you to work in a truly vibrant and collaborative environment.

    To qualify for this position, you will be able to demonstrate experience and/or knowledge of the following tools and methodologies:
