The team
We are a team at the heart of the electronic trading. We own the production plant and manage the systems that process billions of dollars’ worth of trades every day. Working as part of the Site Production Engineering function, Frontline support team members proactively and reactively deal with operational risk. We are accountable for the monitoring and support of Algorithmic, Smart Routing, Order Management & MTF systems.
We use and evolve the techniques, tools and applications to monitor systems, application and business performance. We work closely with the developers, the products managers, the business support team and the technology team to deliver electronic execution services. We ensure the availability, performance and flexibility of the service, today and in the future.
Job Description
The team requires a self-motivated self-starter with good technical skills to be primary support providing support to the front office Sigma X MTF trading applications. The role would sit within the Frontline support team and be responsible for providing daily support coverage to the Sigma X Equity trading platform, respond to clients and member requests and be a point of liaison between the business and engineering stakeholders of the MTF.
The ideal candidate would have experience in a support function in a similar financial services firm and bring a high level of customer service in their approach. These skills to complement good technical skills – FIX, Unix/Linux, SQL database.

Technology Testing Specialist – London
Hybrid working (1 day per week in the office)
A major financial services provider at the centre of the global FX ecosystem is looking for a Technology Testing Specialist to join their team in London. This role offers a highly competitive compensation package including up to £15,000 performance bonus.
The role will involve the testing of controls and quality control activity across the Technology division. This will include the opportunity to contribute to the development of the testing strategy and plan and include working with the other Testing Specialists on larger testing assignments. It will also include reporting on testing activity, and results to stakeholder and maintaining relationships within Technology and with other divisions including Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance.
Experience / essential and desired for successful job performance
Experience of delivering controls assurance testing ideally across more than 1 line of defence.
Experience in one of more of the following:
Knowledge of Financial Services or another highly regulated industry sector is essential.
Knowledge of Technology delivery within Financial Services, and able to demonstrate an understanding of key challenges and risks which must be mitigated and managed to deliver successfully.
