Our client is a boutique wholsesale bank in the City of London who are undergoing major transformation projects to turn digital. While the role will be helping with day to day IT support, the position will also be involved with upcoming, global projects in digitisation so having an interest in this space would be important.


Responsibilities

  • Assist to support London Branch employees with IT requirements to ensure they have the right technology and IT support for their day-to-day work.
  • Assist to support branch IT infrastructure and system maintenance.
  • Work on additional projects and have an interest in Digital Banking
  • In addition to these duties, the Employee may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties within his/her capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the bank's business.

Specification

  • Degree Holder.
  • Major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Automation, Finance engineering, etc.
  • Computer languages like Python, VBA, PHP would be helpful
  • Database knowledge like MYSQL, MSSQL would be helpful
  • Problem Solving ability.
  • Keen to learn new technology.
  • Ability to speak fluent Mandarin.
  • Data Mining, AI, Big Data experience will be highly preferred.

  • Maintain the IT system of London Branch.
  • Help to improve the IT requirement analysis and implementation both for HO’s overseas banking system and for Branch systems.
