About the Java FX Algo developer role:

My client is a tier 1 investment bank based in London. They are looking to hire a strong Java technologist to work on the development of a new Algo trading platform to support the business. The role will involve lots of new development as well as close interaction with the quant and trading team on the design and implementation of algorithmic models. You will need mathematical competence to interact with the quant and trading teams. A strong Java technologist is vital for this however; my client is willing to look at candidates from an Equity/Fixed income trading background. Once settled you will hold the responsibility of writing the execution strategies as well as having a large input in the overall architecture of the system.
