Global Investment Bank is seeking a Java Azure Cloud Developer to join their Securities lending technology team in London.
The successful Java Azure Cloud Developer will be responsible for building and leading the transformation of the next-generation platform using big data or cloud-based technology.
With an agile mind frame the successful Java Azure Cloud Developer will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Key skills
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably Java 8+
- Experience building applications on Unix
- Experience on one or more cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Experience in debugging and performance-tuning cloud applications
- Experience on big data platforms like Databricks
- Experience using agile methodologies

A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.
The Business Development Manager will:
- Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
- Collaboration: To work with colleagues internally to support the presales process (pitch presentations etc).
- New client mobilisation: To support the new client mobilisation process.
- Tenders / RFPs (request for proposals): To search for tendering / RFP opportunities that could be of interest from a new business client perspective.
- Conferences / trade events: To drive lead generation through attending appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, events and expositions.
Ideal candidate:
- Must have the ability to identify and close new business sales opportunities
- Skilled in lead generation and relationship building
- Able to present with confidence at C-suite / Partner level
- It would be advatageous if they worked in the travel and tourism industry

- Good leader of people
- Experience with Office 365
- Knowledge of SFDC architecture
