About the Java Developer; ePricing, Low latency role/client:

My client is a globally renowned Investment bank based in London. They are currently on the lookout for a number of high-level Java Developers with good low-level programming understanding to join them on a build-out of a brand new business initiative that is crucial to their success. The team is made up of extremely talented java developers.

Interacting with the quant team is a large part of this role.

A solid understanding of low latency programming is important as well as some product knowledge of either FX or Interest Rates.

These roles are predominantly within the Banking sector and our clients require Senior Data Engineers who have solid experience migrating from on prem Hadoop to Cloud (AWS, GCP).

    The salaries for these roles range from £75k base to £90k base and they all come with an excellent benefits package and bonus potential. Remote working is expected to start with and will be an option in the long run also.

    Key skills/experience required:

    • An enthusiasm for learning new technologies and skills
    • Data Engineering design skills, incorporating security and service considerations
    • Experience of delivering Data Pipelines on Hortonworks / Cloudera installations
    • Extensive experience in Python and Spark
    • Experience migrating from on prem to Cloud (AWS, GCP)

    I am seeking an experience HR Administrator for a permanent role in a fast paced client within the financial services sector. This role will be supporting the HR function on all HR Administrative aspects for the 200 strong business and the successful candidate will highly organised and efficient.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the full onboarding and offboarding process.
    • Maintain and develop HR databases encompassing the full employee lifecycle.
    • Assist with the documentation for transfers, employment and those leaving the company.
    • Retain employee records and ensure they are updated.
    • Support the team with any projects and advise on HR queries
    • Provide support with the recruitment process.

    Desired Experience:

    • Prior experience of working as an HR Administrator within a small financial services organisation
    • Extensive experience navigating Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
