Java Developer VP/SVP – FX Forwards & Swaps – eTrading – Quant/Strats
A market-leading electronic fx trading team require an expert Java Developer to work for their Quant/Strats group in London. The team look after all electronic trading for FX products (Algo Aggregators, Market Making, Pricing etc…), with a focus on Forwards and Swaps for this project.
The candidate will need to work as part of a global team and have the ability to pick up projects and run the full SDLC alone. A Java Developer with experience of multi-thread trading systems and ideally Python and KDB is the core requirement.
You will work on the Trading Desk and report directly into the business, as they look to seriously enhance their capabilities and drastically increase revenues for the FX business, following a hugely successful year!
Requirements Summary:
- Core Java multithreaded programming of trading systems
- Python and/or KDB desirable
- Strong Derivative product knowledge (FX preferred)
- Forwards and/or Swaps experience
- Experience working with Traders/Quants

Experience:
- Experience in HR with a strong understanding of the impact HR processes have upon HR Systems.
- Have a natural curiosity to gain a deeper understanding of client needs..
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience with SuccessFactors or similar solution.
- Experience in dealing with the clients of HR to understand the user perspective.
- Experience within a Design Authority in major transformation programme.
