I am currently on the lookout for a Junior Test Analyst (Trading/ FIX) to join a top trading firm based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Analyse application of testing methodologies and phases, change requirements and prepare test cases, data and expected results
  • Scope and design regression testing (manual & automated)
  • Monitor and report testing of large systems
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships, both with customers and internal business groups
  • Take ownership of delegated tasks and see things through to completion
  • Support Head of QA in implementation of strategic solutions, including test automation
  • Ensure and maintain quality delivery of all releases
  • Design, in conjunction with the head of QA, automated test scripts and scenarios as well as implement and monitor/analyse the results
  • Liaise with technical and business analysts on requirements and solution definition
  • Defect management and issues. Escalation as appropriate
  • Provide testing support and guidance for all team members

Personal and professional qualities

  • Demonstrable experience of testing complex software solutions and understanding of the full project lifecycle experience
  • Experience in testing Finance Markets applications (ideally equities)
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certified
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Good attention to detail, highly organised, flexible and enjoys pace
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured methodical and hands-on approach with passionate attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good judgement in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions

Desirable

  • Business knowledge of Front, Middle and or Back Office systems
  • Finance Market Regulations and Reporting Rules
  • Python & scripting knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of the FIX protocol
  • Experience in Derivatives, Asset management, Bonds

    Our client is large FTSE100 equivalent business who are hiring a Japanese Content Producer / Community Manager to join the team.

    You will have the opportunity to develop and implement a content strategy and working closely with global colleagues. This position will focus on the Japanese market and require the postholder to work local hours remotely or from the London office 2am – 11am UK time.

    The postholder will ideally have experience managing social media accounts for a corporate organisation including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Broad Marketing experience also considered and desirable.
