Lead Enterprise Architect- IT Strategy, Enterprise Vision, Integration Architecture, Domain Development, Legacy Migration, Cloud- Permanent- Northampton

Fantastic opening for a Lead Enterprise Architect to join a market leading business in the Northampton area. Ideal role for an already experienced Lead Enterprise Architect, who is looking to take on full end to end strategic design and implementation of area wide initiatives, with the autonomy to shape how the business estate will look in the future.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant discipline, or possessing similar equivalent professional qualifications
  • At least 5 years experience in a Lead Enterprise Architect role, with a strong focus on technical solutions and governance
  • Excellent understanding of web technologies, architecture methodologies and delivery standards to contribute to technical excellence
  • Solid grasp of platform migration, legacy systems migration and microservices solutions in a data processing or transactions management environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to support the shaping of vision and delivery road map for enterprise architecture, and liaising with a range of technical and business oriented parties
  • Exposure to working in highly Agile environments, taking on responsibility for multiple strategic programmes
  • Solid understanding of integration architecture across to support excellent web based solutions, cloud hosted platforms and microservices, including the communication solution between applications


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take on a leading role in the delivery of end to end, enterprise scale change programmes
  • Design and deliver solutions that satisfy both technical and business side requirements to ensure that they fall in line with the wider targets and strategies of the organization
  • Make recommendations for changes that could be made to existing enterprise architecture to encourage best practices and raise the standard of the enterprise architecture methodology
  • Shape the technological estate, guiding technical stakeholder and C-level executives on how best to deliver their transformation programmes
  • Work closely with cross-functional team to coordinate the best IT strategy for the business, and make strategic recommendations on how best to govern and implement the strategy to balance both business value and customer value
  • Provide leadership to junior team members, in terms of both day to day management, and long term coaching and mentoring

    Up to £650 per day

    The Role

    The candidate will be responsible development of new features and maintenance for our server side pricing, aggregation, control and contributions platforms using a variety of programming languages and development environments. In particular, the candidate will be developing predominantly in C and C# with some Java as well.

    The successful candidate must be able to operate at a high level and produce results with a quick turn around on key deliverables.

    My leading banking organisation is looking to bring on a Project Manager to join a centralised business change function.

    Candidates must have:

    • Extensive project management experience within banking.
    • Previous experience on delivering lending based projects are highly desirable.
