Fantastic opening for an Enterprise Architect to join a market leading business in the Northampton area. Ideal role for an already experienced Enterprise Architect, who is looking to take on full end to end strategic design and implementation of area wide initiatives, with the autonomy to shape how the business estate will look in the future.


  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant discipline, or possessing similar equivalent professional qualifications
  • At least 5 years experience in an Enterprise Architect role, with a strong focus on technical solutions and governance
  • Excellent understanding of web technologies, architecture methodologies and delivery standards to contribute to technical excellence
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to support the shaping of vision and delivery road map for enterprise architecture, and liaising with a range of technical and business oriented parties
  • Exposure to working in highly Agile environments, taking on responsibility for multiple strategic programmes
  • Solid understanding of integration architecture across to support excellent web based solutions, cloud hosted platforms and microservices, including the communication solution between applications


  • Take on a leading role in the delivery of end to end, enterprise scale change programmes
  • Design and deliver solutions that satisfy both technical and business side requirements to ensure that they fall in line with the wider targets and strategies of the organization
  • Make recommendations for changes that could be made to existing enterprise architecture to encourage best practices and raise the standard of the enterprise architecture methodology
  • Shape the technological estate, guiding technical stakeholder and C-level executives on how best to deliver their transformation programmes
  • Work closely with cross-functional team to coordinate the best IT strategy for the business, and make strategic recommendations on how best to govern and implement the strategy to balance both business value and customer value
  • Provide leadership to junior team members, in terms of both day to day management, and long term coaching and mentoring

  • Test Engineer
    Up to £40000 per annum

    Test Engineers needed! (Automation/ Java/ Selenium/Cucumber)

    Based in Sheffield & Norwich


    Mcgregor Boyall are currently recruiting for 7 Test Engineers for a Financial Services client based in Sheffield. Who are looking for Test Engineers to continue growth within their API team. The team will be working on continuous development of the businesses’ and partners’ digital apps.

    The successful test engineer will need;

    • Understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, and demonstrable application of relevant Test methodologies and toolsets.
    • Test specification development.
    • Test script preparation.
    • Experience of Automated Test Tools such as Selenium, Cucumber
    • Experience Working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model
    • Knowledge of developing in a high level language such as C /Java
    • Experience of Continuous Integration

  • Payments and Cash Management Lawyer
    £350 - £500 per day

    Senior Legal Counsel, Global Liquidity and Cash Management– 6-month contract

    Our client, a tier 1 global banking group, is looking for a Payments and Cash Management Lawyer looking at digital payments and ecommerce. They position will be Senior Legal Counsel within their (GLCM) area. It is a 6-month contract position offering £350 - £500 per day. The role is based in London.


    • The role will focus on contractual matters surrounding liquidity and cash management and you will be required to undertake negotiations
    • Collaboration with GLCM’s documentation and sales team will also be required
    • You will provide legal advice, support and legal risk management to payments and cash management eChannels area within the organisation

    Skills and experience

    • Qualified lawyer
    • Experience within financial services law, particularly banking
    • Advantageous to have compliance and corporate experience however not necessary
    • Specialist and detailed knowledge and experience in corporate trust and fiduciary risk
    • Strong leadership, management and communication skills

  • Database Developer (SQL)

    McGregor Boyall are representing our client, a principal player in the outsourcing market. We are on the hunt for an ambitious SQL experienced analyst to join a small MI team. This role will join the team on a journey of change, redesigning databases and ETL processes and implementing new applications and therefore you must be passionate and up for a challenge!

    You will play a key part in shaping the MI and BI, therefore giving the opportunity to make an impact on a growing department and business.

    • Minimum of 2 years commercial experience using SQL Server 2012 or above
    • Strong experience using T-SQL for BI and reporting
    • Strong SSRS and SSIS skills
    • Experience of designing database solutions from the ground up including data modelling
    • Experience of developing and supporting complex ETL procedures
    • Analytical and creative thinking with the ability to identify and prioritise opportunities
