Lead iOS Developer

My client is an established bank who are looking for a Lead iOS Developer to guide a team that is introducing agility into a cornerstone of British banking.   • Up to date with the latest technologies and in line with the changing tech landscape
  • Understanding of how mobile security in App development works
  • Assist in the wider IT development across the business

  • Always look to improve the way the team are delivering
  • Help build a safe environment with an emphasis on problem solving

What are they looking for?

  • Strong iOS Development skills within Swift and Objective-C
  • The ability to mentor other within iOS Development
  • Obsessed with quality, proficient with Sketch and Zeplin
  • Someone cooperative with UI/UX designers
  • The ability to make key decisions within design
  • At least 1 year working in a Scrum or Kanban team
  • Testing experience with frameworks like Appium, Calabash, XCTest, OCMock, Quick, Nimble), scripting languages (e.g. shell scripts, Python, Ruby), and/or Jenkins
  • A good working knowledge of the iTunes Connect, App Provisioning and the Apple Developer Portal.
  • Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo etc

  • PMO Manager - IFRS 17
    £100000 - £130000 per annum

    My leading global insurance client are looking to bring on an experienced PMO Manager to support on their IFRS 17 Project.

    Candidates must have:

    • Significant PMO Management/Lead experience within the insurance sector.
    • Deep PMO toolkit and experience, including reporting, planning, dependency, budget, resource and risk and issues management.
    • Experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions at working groups, meetings and forums; have an ability to develop cohesive working relationships with stakeholders.
    • RAID management skills to aid mitigation, resolution and escalation of programme and project risks, issues and dependencies packs, reports and committee papers.
    • Degree in Accounting, Actuarial, IT or related degrees.
    • Knowledge of IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 or motivated to learn.
    • Knowledge of IFRS 4 and IFRS 39 (beneficial)
    • Proficient with MS Office suite of tools and Visual Basic
    • Good project management skills.
    • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

    • You will help us to migrate from a monolithic architecture to microservices
    • Assist in architecting systems and applications
    • Participate in regular retrospectives help surface what’s not working so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right so we can improve on it
    • Coach, mentor and develop the engineers

    • Demonstrable experience of Java, its libraries and frameworks

    • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems, especially PostgreSQL

    What would be great to have...

    • Experience building systems to perform real-time data processing using Apache Flink, or similar technologies like Kafka Streams
    • Hands-on experience with Pravega or Pulsar
    • Demonstrable experience with OpenWhisk or Knative
    • Knowledge of the Scala programming language and the Akka framework
    • Experience with NoSQL database is a plus
    • Experience as an open source contributor and/or speaker
