My client, a Northampton based company has a great opportunity for a Lead Java Developer. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for production of high quality application software and will be driving the architecture and design of the platform. You will be working with business owners and will be mentoring other developers in the team.


Technical Specialism:

  • Proficiency in Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate and other Java based frameworks
  • Experience with SOAP, Rest, WebServices, Git, XML, JSON
  • Experience of full development life cycle and in providing technical leadership
  • Experience of working in Agile environment
  • Great problem solving and communication skills.

Other skills and experience:

  • Experience with the latest open-source tools and technologies
  • Experience building resilient and self-healing service-oriented architectures.

    Our client, a private banking group is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Developer to join the team based in the London.

    Main duties and purpose of the role:

    • Be a central point of expertise and consultation on technical aspects of the regulatory reporting platform
    • Ensuring development aligns to agreed standards and is of a high quality
    • Evaluating and adopting new techniques to advance the platform
    • Working with product and operations teams to streamline processes
    • Development across each component of the reporting platform
    • Aiding planning sessions and prioritisation to facilitate agile delivery of features

    − Facilitate workshops with third party vendors and business users to capture and document surveillance requirements

    − Provide QA testing teams with detailed acceptance criteria for all business requirements

Looking for a critical role in a rapidly-growing organization?

Keen to get to get to grips with Docker and Kubernetes but haven’t gained experience yet?

If so, look no further. I’m currently working with Global E-commerce company based in the West Midlands.

You will be brought on board to look after the platform hosted on Azure. You will also be involved in multiple tasks using container and container orchestration technologies and promoting a DevOps culture across the development team.

The role will be initially based on-site. However, after a 3-month probation period, you will be offered 3 days a week to work from home as part of the benefits package.

This is a permanent position that can pay up to £55,000 per annum.
