Lead Security Architect

Our global banking client is looking to take on an experienced Lead Security Architect to work on the Digital Transformation project.

The Lead Security Architect will have the ability to communicate effectively across the organisation and present clear, concise proposals for solutions to multiple stakeholders from various disciplines (business analysts, testing teams and wider technical stakeholders).

The Lead Security Architect should have experience of team management as they will be required to manage a small team of security architects, so previous experience would be advantageous.

As the project is working on digital transformation, experience in an enterprise environment with an understanding of traditional procedures and the impact they have on digital transformation. Experience with leading security architecture and roadmaps across a large organisation is also an essential element to this role.

Whilst the role is not heavily technical, the Lead Security Architect should also have experience with various technical elements such as Identity and Access Management and Cyber Security technologies, for example. The role will also require the Lead Security Architect to produce Solution Design documents with UML diagrams.

Candidates are welcomed with a degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline, or with relevant industry qualifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

    • Ideally experience or an interest in AI/Machine Learning
    • Financial Services experience desirable, but not essential
    • Strong academic profile (Computer Science preferred)

  • Javascript React Developer - FX Algo Trading - £60k-£100k base
    £60000 - £100000 per annum bonus

    Javascript React Developer – FX Algo Trading – Associate/AVP - £60k-£100k

    Javascript UI developer required to work on an evolving and expanding Algo Trading application suite, used by Traders, Quants and various clients of the FX trading desk at a market leading Investment Bank in London. The wider team use a variety of technologies, including Java and C , however this role will focus on UI development of the FX Algo Trading system with Javascript, using React framework.

    This role is open to Javascript React Developers looking to break into the financial sector or a more experienced developer looking for a new challenge in a market leading FX Algo Trading team.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £60k and £100k base, plus package and bonus.

    Requirements

    • Javascript UI development skills
    • React (Redux, RXJS, ReactJS)
    • Some experience of OO server-side development would be beneficial
    • Willingness to work in a fast paced, dynamic, front office environment
    • Front office trading experience would be beneficial
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong academic credentials (Comp Sci or Mathematics preferred)

    Role Overview:

    An experienced core java developer/technical lead is required to play a pivotal role in the greenfield re-architecture of their Big Data and Analytics platform. The platform will leverage some of the latest big data and cloud functionality and will branch out the firms capabilities for trade execution and facilitation. Given the seniority of the role you will be expected to play an active role in discussions around design and architecture, as well as having the opportunity to lead a team of java developers based in London and overseas.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £90k and £110k, plus healthy benefits and bonus.
