Leadership Development & Talent Management Specialist

I am seeking a leadership development & talent management specialist to join one of the best and most forward-thinking talent and leadership functions within financial services.
The role will be aligned to a front office Global Markets client group and will work with the leadership function and consult with them around all aspects of talent management and leadership to support them with their people strategies ensuring they are aligned with global and regional initiatives. This includes supporting on the design and execution of the overall regional talent priorities, including regional succession and talent planning, culture improvement initiatives, high potential and gender diversity talent programmes, employee engagement strategies, core curriculum content and other organisational development solutions
The role faces off to senior managers and MDs operating in this space and so requires high level credibility and exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Experience of operating within the talent management and leadership development space in-house or in a consulting capacity and have a holistic view on innovative solutions in this space.
  • Significant experience of designing, implementing and managing change programmes (Culture, people, processes, systems related) leadership and learning programmes, organisational design and development and employee engagement
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior executive stakeholders, flexing style and approach as required in a range of complex situations
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical skills and a results oriented mind-set
  • Happy to perform a high level of operational work, mixed with senior strategic work in close partnership with regional peers
  • Tenacious, solutions focused, positive and resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges and remain agile to changing business needs and priorities
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once with multiple senior stakeholders in Lines of Business and HR

    As a Service Operations specialist you will provide support to the internal IT Linux & Unix Infrastructure as well as a number of the company’s systems that are in their hosted environment.
