My client, a key player in the financial services industry, is looking for Learning & Development Manager for a 12 month contract to build out a new team focussing on design and delivery of Anti-Financial Crime learning solutions.

As an organisation it is currently undergoing huge transformation to make the business fit for purpose and offer a strong customer centric approach. This makes it is an incredibly exciting and challenging environment for an experienced Learning & Development professional looking to make an impact. They are seeking a Learning & Training Manager to join a newly created team supporting the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Training Curriculum. Reporting directly to the Financial Crime Senior HR Manager you will be responsible for identify learning needs through architecture and delivery of pre-prioritised and scoped learning, working closely with development team to create.

Some focus areas will include

  • Providing financial crime SME technical expertise in the design and delivery of Anti-Financial Crime Academy (AFCA) learning solutions
  • Leading contributor on the design, development and implementation of HR solutions and initiatives within AFC training
  • Project managing graduate /apprenticeship scheme activities in consultation with supplier partner and business stakeholders
  • Managing and conducting AFC post training evaluation analysis
  • Offering L&D consultancy for identified business needs to support colleague development
  • Guaranteeing smooth delivery of multiple learning initiatives/projects of varying scales across the CoE

Experience

  • Proven experience of AFC training and learning & education within Financial Services
  • Strong Financial Crime SME across Retail and Corporate Banking with a deep understanding of the associated products, sectors and industries
  • Relevant academic qualification (such as ICA/ ACAMs)
  • Project Management qualifications or equivalent job-related experience
  • Solid business and L&D acumen, including strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking

  • QA Tester(Manual & Automation)
    £40000 - £45000 per annum

    McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for a QA tester to join a growing financial services organization in central London who are committed to using technology to offer bespoke trading services to a growing clientbase. The main responsibility of this role is to test releases and upgrades to the bespoke platform, Each release is different and will need to be functionally tested and Automated where relevant. This role is split between manual and automation testing.

    To be successful in this role you will ideally have most of the below:

    • Experience working on windows and unix platforms
    • Understanding of the full SDLC and able to identify when tests can be automated.
    • Scope and execute regression tests – manual and automation
    • Automation test experience, no particular tool but scripting using would be beneficial – python, JavaScript etc
    • Good solid understanding of SQL for writing queries
    • Strong communication skills as you’ll be liaising with other business units to define tests.

    In return you’ll be working in a cooperative environment with a small group of experienced QA’s. This role would at first be fully remote and moving to a Working from home/office based split when safe to do so.

  • eBusiness Tester
    Negotiable

    Manual tester required for an exciting opportunity with a London based investment house. We are looking for a junior manual tester with testing experience of web-based user interfaces. Having experience in eFX or financial sector is an advantage.

    This is a hands-on role that will involve functional, regression, and integration testing of electron trading applications - Jetstream FX, Bloomberg, FXAll, and 360T. You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of FX products: Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, and Options. This role could be suitable for someone with a BA/QA profile who is enthusiastic to learn, can pick up things quickly, has ‘can-do’ attitude, and enjoys working in fast-paced environment.

    You will have most of the following:

    • Creating test plan and writing test cases
    • Manual testing of web delivered user interfaces
    • Issue detection, documentation and managing
    • HP Quality Center (desirable), Jira (desirable)
    • Strong comms, you will be liaising with other teams across the business.

    This role is inside IR35 and looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
