My client, a key player in the financial services industry, is looking for Learning & Development Manager for a 12 month contract to build out a new team focussing on design and delivery of Anti-Financial Crime learning solutions.

As an organisation it is currently undergoing huge transformation to make the business fit for purpose and offer a strong customer centric approach. This makes it is an incredibly exciting and challenging environment for an experienced Learning & Development professional looking to make an impact. They are seeking a Learning & Training Manager to join a newly created team supporting the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Training Curriculum. Reporting directly to the Financial Crime Senior HR Manager you will be responsible for identify learning needs through architecture and delivery of pre-prioritised and scoped learning, working closely with development team to create.

Some focus areas will include

  • Providing financial crime SME technical expertise in the design and delivery of Anti-Financial Crime Academy (AFCA) learning solutions
  • Leading contributor on the design, development and implementation of HR solutions and initiatives within AFC training
  • Project managing graduate /apprenticeship scheme activities in consultation with supplier partner and business stakeholders
  • Managing and conducting AFC post training evaluation analysis
  • Offering L&D consultancy for identified business needs to support colleague development
  • Guaranteeing smooth delivery of multiple learning initiatives/projects of varying scales across the CoE

Experience

  • Proven experience of AFC training and learning & education within Financial Services
  • Strong Financial Crime SME across Retail and Corporate Banking with a deep understanding of the associated products, sectors and industries
  • Relevant academic qualification (such as ICA/ ACAMs)
  • Project Management qualifications or equivalent job-related experience
  • Solid business and L&D acumen, including strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking

  • Scrum Master
    £80000 - £90000 per annum

    My leading investment banking client are looking to bring on an experienced Scrum Master with a background in software development.

    Candidates should have:

    • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in a variety of different organisations/cultures.
    • Experience in a Software Product / IT Development sphere is essential (Financial preferred),
    • Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe)
    • Expertise in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, transparency
    • Expertise in the use of JIRA/Confluence
    • Expertise around backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, Epics/Features/Stories
    • Expert knowledge of the software development processes and understanding of Team needs within it
    • Experience of building out a Technical Agile environment (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins/TeamCity, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube)
    • Experience of the IBMi platform, RPG/SQL, Java is a bonus – people from a technical background are preferred
    • Experience of Test Automation in an Agile context a bonus
    • Professional certifications like CSM, PSM, CSPO, CSP, SA, SPC or equivalent are a bonus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
    • Knowledge of other scaled approaches discussed in the Agile space is a bonus (Nexus, LeSS, DSDM)
    • Be comfortable challenging and influencing Stakeholders including Senior Management

  • VMware / Python Developer
    £600 - £650 per day + PAYE

    VMWare / Python Developer - Automation - ESXI - BitBucket - Cloud - Bournemouth (office 2-3 days, rest WFH)

    Contract - 6 months, up to £650/day PAYE

    Global financial services client is looking for a VMware / Python Developer to join their team in Bournemouth on a contract basis. The team focus on delivering modern, distributed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaas) capabilities to support the needs of business applications. Responsible for automating and delivering the platforms in support of the services, that revolve around VMware technologies. The focus is to achieve a comprehensive end-to-end delivery of components that are fully compliant and production ready.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive VMware infrastructure development experience (ideally 10+years), particularly on deploying ESXi 6.5, 7.0 and products vROps, VRO, VCSA, and other virtual appliances.
    • Python development experience, particularly on automating infrastructure deployments
    • Good knowledge of deploying products using ansible and bitbucket.
    • Experience of working at an enterprise level and scale
    • Working knowledge of private cloud technologies would be beneficial.
