Loan Administrator


New job opportunity with a highly established Tier 1 bank as a Loan Administrator to join their Corporate Trust Services department. It is an 8-month contract based in London.

The role with be responsible for all administration and additionally Loan Closing whilst managing good relationships with clients to provide them with a knowledgeable service. You will also be required to provide general support to the Head of Loan Solutions.

Accountability

  • Manage all areas of Loan Administration from loan trades from original receipt through to
  • settlement, and also checking any pre-trade eligibility, loan pricing, data input, rollovers, drawdowns/repayments, fees and the reconciliation of cash received.
  • Dealing with loan trade settlement packs, both receiving and reviewing and all documentation that surrounds that.
  • Responsible for making payments for loan purchases and coordinating with clients, buyer/seller and loan agent to oversee the train and ensure all documents are successfully distributed across parties
  • Ensure all reports production and delivery follow strict deadlines
  • Reviewing and interpreting Loan Agreement clauses
  • Successful and timely response and troubleshooting of Client enquiries
  • Maintaining and updating record keeping systems
  • Ensure that timely payments are making via the Bank’s platform
  • Collaboration and relationship building with Loan Agents and Counterparties

Minimum Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience working with syndicated loans and the administration that surrounds this.
  • Experience of handling a loan portfolio
  • Ability to examine and interpret loan agent notices and reconcile loan positions to fix any issues
  • Experience of the settlement documents related to syndicated loans (Trade Confirmation / Transfer Certificate / Funding Memo)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with demanding client base and various jurisdictions within the bank.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills for meeting tight deadlines and assimilating complex legal material.
  • French language skills would be highly beneficial but not necessary.

  • C# Developer
    Up to £650 per day

    The Role

    The candidate will be responsible development of new features and maintenance for our server side pricing, aggregation, control and contributions platforms using a variety of programming languages and development environments. In particular, the candidate will be developing predominantly in C and C# with some Java as well.

    The successful candidate must be able to operate at a high level and produce results with a quick turn around on key deliverables.

    My leading banking organisation is looking to bring on a Project Manager to join a centralised business change function.

    Candidates must have:

    • Extensive project management experience within banking.
    • Previous experience on delivering lending based projects are highly desirable.
