Interim Operations Support Manager – SAP/Trading/Settlement/Accounting
McGregor Boyall are delighted to be working with one of the largest Global brands who are on the lookout for an Interim Operations Support Manager for SAP/ Trading, Settlement, Accounting

  • Day rate contract - £300 a day
  • Outside of IR35 (LTD company or Umbrella company acceptable)
  • Initial 3-month contract
  • Canary Wharf


Ideal requirements:
• The Operations Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing the support service for two business critical SAP instances. These support financial Settlement and Accounting for the organisations Trading division
• Candidate must have strong Relationship Management skills as be working with Senior Business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC, Financial Accounting (FI), Materials Management (MM), and BW HANA is beneficial.

Overview:
The Operations Support Manager provides overall leadership, control and decision-making for specific operations support teams, taking a strategic focus to ensure relevant services meet agreed service levels and are delivered in line with agreed budgets.
Activities include providing technical knowledge and leadership in the specific operations support activities covered by the teams, and ensuring necessary technical training, awareness and experience levels are maintained.
The role also provides reports and management information on service performance and drives continual service improvement activities, making recommendations for improvements based on past performance, forecast demands and information from support teams.
The role acts as a secondary escalation point and works closely with Service Delivery Managers, to manage service performance and stay aware of the evolving requirements of the business and any changes to service levels and ensure any changes to service levels are communicated to the relevant teams.

Qualifications:
ITIL Foundation Certificate (V2 or V3), plus any ITIL Intermediate or Practitioner Certificate (V2 or V3) Competencies Change management IT operations Problem management Service desk and incident management

    McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Lead to join a modern and dynamic Technology Consultancy based in the heart of Glasgow city centre who puts client satisfaction and building a strong reputation in the market above profit margins and quick wins.

    You will join an established development team favoring Microsoft technologies including C# .Net, SQL and PowerBI and will take on Leadership of local team in Glasgow. This will include growing the team around you and identifying areas for training and development of the team. You will also be heavily involved in client engagements including requirement gathering and solution design across industries including Manufacturing and Education.

    The business is set to grow extensively, and the view is that the successful candidate will build into a Head of Development position as the local team grows.
