£30000 - £45000 per annum


Job Duties:

Portfolio Monitoring Reporting

  • Ensuring the monitoring of all IMA/Regulatory/client guidelines for funds under individual responsibility are captured in Portfolio Monitoring systems
  • On-going maintenance and improvement of the portfolio monitoring processes with a focus on standardisation and automation
  • Timely daily review of all breaches and accurate interpretation
  • Timely escalation and resolution of portfolio breaches and fund manager warnings.
  • Timely and complete production and distribution of breach reports
  • Ensuring the Head of Portfolio Monitoring is kept informed of all progress and issues
  • Question and challenge contradictory/inappropriate guideline proposals/amendments with IB/CRM’s etc.
  • Liase with relevant business areas to agree and maintain timetables for specific desk reviews of current guidelines.
  • Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with Portfolio Monitoring team members and other Risk analysts
  • Maintaining an open and effective dialogue with Fund Managers in relation to monitoring issues, reporting and client changes.

Skills Required

  • A solid understanding of the investment process
  • Knowledge of markets and products
  • Good asset type knowledge
  • Intermediate to advance Excel knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills - including verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong communication skills – especially in relation to fund managers and client teams
  • Determined, self-motivated and resourceful to achieve objectives
  • Ability to absorb, interpret, apply and communicate information effectively
  • Problem solving ability

  • Regulatory Compliance Officer
    £45000 - £55000 per annum + Benefits

    Monitoring

    • Provide assistance in developing and implementing a risk-based compliance monitoring programme, identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting all material compliance risks.
    • Key responsibility for day to day monitoring and reporting of compliance risks.

    Advisory

    • Be responsible for promoting regulatory awareness through employee training, including working with other members of the Compliance Department to provide both induction training for new employees and regular training to all employees on compliance matters, including internal policies and procedures, the application of standards and guidelines, and relevant laws and enhancing a strong branch-wide compliance culture.

    Risk Assessment

    • Drive the compliance risk assessment process ensuring that the compliance risks are appropriately identified and assessed.

    AML

    • Assist the Compliance Department and Front Line to ensure that appropriate AML due diligence checks are carried out.
    • Assist the Compliance Department in keeping internal processes and procedures up to date as required due to regulatory changes.

    Reporting

    • Prepare standard and ad-hoc information and data reports for internal and external reports as required.
    • Prepare and manage appropriate timely management information on compliance and regulatory issues including suggested mitigating actions.
    • Provide input into the Annual Compliance Plan
    • Assist with preparing and coordinating ad-hoc reports on compliance developments as required.

    My Client a large Investment Bank in London are seeking a Analyst to work within a large Global team focusing on implementing feature requests and small enhancements to the internal system. The banks initiative is to use the internal system to keep position of the company’s global database.

    £55000 - £70000 per annum

    My leading global investment bank are looking to bring on a Portfolio PMO Analyst to join their International Change PMO.

    Candidates should have:

    • Extensive investment banking experience.
    • Strong PMO skills and working in global PMO functions.
    • Exposure to regulatory change initiatives.
    • Must have worked in a global PMO role
    • Portfolio level experience on financial management, scope control & RAID metrics.
    • Ability to manage and coordinate activities and resources in a project life cycle.
    • Excellent financial analysis & tracking skills. (includes variance analysis, forecast vs actuals).
    • Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret and synthesize complex business and technical environments to scope and control project work which aggregates at portfolio level
    • Ability to identify and correlate dependencies between projects and plans
    • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement skills (will be regularly consulting with delivery partners and stakeholders on performance and strategy).
    • Degree or equivalent level education and/or professional project management qualification e.g. Prince 2, PMI, Six Sigma
    • Excellent proficiency with MS Office suite and proficient with SharePoint, Clarity, PlanView
