Front Office Java Quant Developer - Business Reporting/Machine Learning - Banking - £170k

Our client is a leading investment bank in the City of London looking for exceptional Java Algo developers to join their expanding Front Office team, who are undergoing aggressive expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of one or more asset classes gained from working within the front office, as well as proficiency in core Java development, particularly algorithmic execution or quantitative analysis. Connectivity tools are also desired, such as FIX, ITCH, TCP UDP., as is low latency experience.

The successful Java developer will be working alongside an elite team of quants, sales and traders in a front office environment, so previous experience in Algo trading, electronic trading or exposure to low latency trading platforms is highly desired.

Opporutinities to work on greenfield machine learning and data science projects can also be expected

The successful applicant can expect a salary between £100k-170k base salary, plus a very healthy bonus and package.

  • Data Analytics Manager - SC Cleared
    £450 - £570 per day

    Data & Analytics Lead/Manager required to work on a contract basis for a 6 month inital term very likely to be extended for the long term.

    • Current SC Clearance (or former SC Clearance lapsed) is a key requirement to secure this contract.

    Our client are rolling out new programmes of Data and Statistical Analystics as part of a wider programme into Data Science and Advanced Analytics for the group.

    This role holder will enable this programme enhancing the business' internal Data Analytics and Statical Analytics capability, promoting best practice for Data Analytics, Statistical Analytics and BI Development practice.

    The role is Lead/Manager level, but still requires hands on technical Analytics tooling/coding.
