My client is a tier 1 investment bank based in London. They are seeking a talented developer that possesses a thorough understanding of low level programming principles. You will have exposure to real time, business critical systems and will work on their flagship Fixed income trading system that is used by 500 traders globally. This system is business critical and sits with one of their highest performing teams. It is a single global application used in 6 different locations. It is responsible for trading, pricing, and risk. The role sits on the trading floor and you will have a lot of exposure to the business. The system is very latency sensitive.

    I am currently looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst (Windows/ IIS) to join a top bank based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.



    Principal duties and responsibilities:

    Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the banks’ application suite

    Troubleshooting any issues that arise and implement fixes as required

    Provide assistance to other IT support teams for issues

    Trend recurring incidents and provide suitable long term solutions

    Work closely with the Database Administrators and Storage teams in relation to incidents, capacity management & service improvements

    Technical liaison with vendors as required

    Provide on-call support on a regular basis, working in a shift pattern

    Essential skills/experience:

    Experienced Application Support Analyst

    Windows Enterprise Operating Systems (Windows 2003 and above)

    Managing web applications (IIS/Application Server Roles)
