An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Salesforce specialist to work for a Tier 1 Investment bank based in London.

You will be responsible for providing guidance for the IT team and management regarding best practices for the Salesforce implementation. You will assess and critically appraise actual Salesforce implementations and design approaches, across areas including, but not limited to, Development, Integration, and Data Migration. Essentially you will act as the Salesforce technical expert in discussions with integrator / vendors.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Developer and Administrator Salesforce certifications
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce Development methods and best practices
  • Experience of a wide range of Salesforce techniques for integrating with other applications (including SOAP and REST APIs)
  • Release preparation / evaluation (Salesforce / Managed Packages)
  • Core technical skills of force.com (APEX, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL)
  • Javascript frameworks
  • ETL Experience (data loading / transforming / mapping)
  • Good UI design skills
  • Experience of Tier1CRM implementation
  • Excellent communication skills

    The role

    This role is accountable for the provision, strategic direction and day to day operation of an effective, efficient, consistent and professional Service Desk. This includes designing and implementing a structured strategy of policies, standards and targets of a high performing, 24/7 service for an outcome of excellent customer experience. You will lead, mentor and coach the team to maximise performance and timely and effective delivery of incidents, requests and queries from internal and 3rd party customers.

    Essential

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of service desk/service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow)

    • Good knowledge of the asset management industry and experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies are a benefit

  • Data Analytics Manager - SC Cleared
    £450 - £570 per day

    Data & Analytics Lead/Manager required to work on a contract basis for a 6 month inital term very likely to be extended for the long term.

    • Current SC Clearance (or former SC Clearance lapsed) is a key requirement to secure this contract.

    Our client are rolling out new programmes of Data and Statistical Analystics as part of a wider programme into Data Science and Advanced Analytics for the group.

    This role holder will enable this programme enhancing the business' internal Data Analytics and Statical Analytics capability, promoting best practice for Data Analytics, Statistical Analytics and BI Development practice.

    The role is Lead/Manager level, but still requires hands on technical Analytics tooling/coding.
    You'll also be expected to engage with the wider business up to Senior Management/C Level functionally.

    Techically we require the following:

    • Advanced Data and Statistical Analytics experience ideally SAS Analytics/BASE but my client will consider a similar statistical analytic platform/tool such as R, or SPSS.
    • Python desirable.
    • Advanced SQL scripting and analytics, highly desirable RDBMS BI Skills in Oracle or SQL Server, inclusive of their BI Stack tools, such as Oracle ODI, OBIEE, PLSQL, SQL SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, TSQL.
