Senior FP&A Analyst

£55 - £55000 per annum



The role
As part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in delivery of management reporting, financial analysis and modelling. Joining a dynamic team environment, you will have the opportunity to support assist Finance transformation projects.

Specifically, your role will include;

  • Monthly Management Reporting
    • Developing and detailing financial processes for capturing management information as new MI and financial reporting tools are tested and launched.
    • Ownership and maintenance of the Bank’s cost tool (including providing training to Finance and non-Finance users and ongoing enhancements)
    • Work with Finance Business Partners to bring together an overall view of the costs of the Bank, analysis, benchmarking
    • Lead the coordination and preparation of the monthly finance pack
  • Finance Transformation
    • Assist Head of FP&A in Finance Tools and Capabilities – assessment, development of vision and implementation of best in class Finance tools and capabilities.
    • Take lead in user testing for new models for actual and budget process, reconciliations, rolling forecast and KPIs implementation as part of change finance projects
    • Assist the development of standard MI for use across the business including consistent reporting of cost, Income and Balance sheet
  • Budgeting/Forecasting
    • Liaising with Finance business partners to complete Budget/Budget Update
    • Excel modelling for (income and costs) over a 5 year planning period
    • Assist in the budget process, including direction of and liaison with Finance Business Partners, scenario planning, prepare presentation packs for the executive committee and preparation of submissions to PF Group


  • Previous experience of working as a FP&A Analyst within Consumer Financial Services
  • A high degree of proficiency working with SAS or SQL
  • University degree in a finance related subject and/or qualified to ACCA / CIMA.
