Structured Finance Analyst/ Loans Analyst (3 Months)

We are looking for a Structured Finance Analyst/Loans Analyst to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis. The role is mainly operations with heavy emphasis on reconciliation and cash management. The role will report to the Financial Controller and will involve working in a fast-paced environment where the ability to work under pressure and to clearly defined deadlines is key.
Experience within a financial services company is preferable and applicants must be available to interview and commence immediately.

Responsibilities will include but won't be limited to

  • Managing day to day corporate loan and securitised debt facilities in line with the transaction docs
  • Reconciling cash payments to various funding sources
  • Sweeping cash payments
  • Reviewing arrears and defaults
  • Data integrity reconciliations
  • Review, interpret and navigate transaction documents
  • Issuing the appropriate transactions docs - drawdown, repurchases, recycle, etc
  • Process creation and improvement
  • Liaising with credit risk to manage concentration limits
  • Managing waterfalls
  • Cashflow waterfall modelling - creation and management
  • Reconciling with agent's waterfall
  • Balance sheet reconciliations of loans and funding
  • ALM reporting - loan issuance and funding headroom
  • Writing process documentation
  • Other ad hoc duties as required including loan administration

Technical knowledge
? Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
? Excellent knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles and Procedures
? A knowledge of the financial services industry
? Very strong Excel skills
? Knowledge of FCA policies as it relates accounting practices and principles, is desirable
? Knowledge of the consumer lending sector and understanding how this applies to this role, is desirable
? Experience within consumer lending is also desirable but not essential

    Data Administrator

    Our client, a financial services group is seeking an experienced Data Administrator to join the team based in the London.

    Major duties and responsibilities of the job

    • Analyze data collected from clients and 3rd party sources to isolate and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain a single data source which underpins the application and other future services.
    • Identify enhancements with a newly defined data administration process with the intention of 1) reducing potential for data discrepancies impacting clients and 2) streamlining the data administration process.
    • Work with Sales, Analytics, Product Management, On boarding, ETL, App Support, and IT Admin in accordance with the “Client Data Administration Process”.
    • Manage a minimum of two Data Administration resources responsible for supporting analysis, reconciliation, and maintenance of data.

Role Purpose
To collect complex financial information from the bank sites throughout the world and prepare consolidated results for the organisation for reporting to Senior Executive Management and externally.
