My client is a large global Investment Bank and is seeking a Compensation Specialist to advise the organisation on all compensation initiatives. This role will be supporting the compensation team to deliver advice to the business managers and the global HR advisors. The role will require someone who has enough experience to work autonomously and contribute significantly to compensation analytics and advice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the creation of compensation plans, that are consistent with both the banks philosophies and business needs
  • Work collaboratively with the other members of the global compensation team, to both plan a deliver the year end compensation cycle
  • Work with global HR advisors and regional compensation teams to ensure that the business units are adequately supported through the cycle
  • Manage compensation based projects
  • Provide both analytical support and advise on global compensation projects
  • Provide compensation related training to HR advisors and business units

The core competencies are:

  • Previous experience within a financial services organisation as a compensation specialist with knowledge and experience of working with third party data suppliers such as McLagan/Wills Towers Watson
  • Advanced excel skills with proven data manipulation experience
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities, experience with working with OBIEE reporting tool advantageous
  • Presentation preparation for delivery to senior executives
  • Understanding of compensation plan design
  • Degree level educated
