Our client is seeking a Leadership Development Manager to lead the learning & development function at group level within the organisation. Managing a team of 3 you will be responsible for driving all learning and development strategy and interventions within this fast paced organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Learning and Development team. Ensuring best practice strategies that enable to team to be the benchmark and be thought leaders within this space.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and development blended learning solutions across to continually improve the Learning and Development initiative across the organisation.
  • Collaborating with senior HR leaders across the organisation to ensure that skill gaps are understood and succinctly covered.
  • Invigorate the leadership and development of the workforce to produce a high-performance team.
  • Lead on OD initiatives to aide company growth.
  • Manage the performance management process including performance improvement processes.
  • Keeping everyone informed and updated about new strategies through thought leadership.
  • Inspire new, creative thinking that through Thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record leading a learning & development function within a fast paced, lean environment - experience within FMCG or Retail sectors is advantageous but not essential
  • Possess and extensive toolkit of learning and development interventions
  • A proven track record of influencing people around them at all levels of an organisation.
  • Capable of working in fast paced environment and balancing multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Malleable to every situation they are put in
  • Accredited and familiar with assessment tools
  • Possesses operational and strategic dexterity to manage and deliver projects to a vast audience.

  • Internal Auditor
    £45000 - £65000 per annum

    They are looking for an Auditor to join their team as, at present, it is outsourced to the Big 4. This is a stand alone role, which has excellent progression and exposure to senior stakeholders in the UK and China as well as exposure to different areas of the business. The candidate should have strong Audit experience as well as being fluent in Mandarin as there will be lots of communicating with the Head Office.


    The Internal audit Function provides internal audit for the London branch fulfilling the third line of defence and review of the branches business operations. This role will grow into a SMF role in 2 years’ time.


    Responsibility

    • Carry out risk based audits across the business and other projects as assigned by senior management, to provide assurance that material risks faced by the bank are being adequately managed;
    • Execute and help to develop the London branch Internal audit plan;
    • Support the continual development of the internal audit methodology;
    • Audit various business areas of the bank in line with strategic instructions;
    • Assess, identify and report any issues of weakness within control and devise remediating solutions for any issues found;
    • Work alongside internal departments to analyse issues and formulate resolutions
    • Ensure our internal audit process and reports are aligned with local regulations and Head Office’s requirements;
    • Other Ad hoc duties as required


    Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher;
    • Minimum 2 years internal audit / internal audit experience gained within banking environment, ideally within international branch;
    • Exposure to wholesale and corporate banking activities;
    • Good report writing and communication skills;
    • Demonstrable good understand of audit and up-to-date technical knowledge;


    The Successful Applicant
    The successful candidate for this role will have the following exposure:

    • CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA qualified preferred, or working towards these qualifications;
    • Working experience in top auditing firm viewed favourably but not essential;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
    • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
    • Results and detail focussed.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Willing to do international travel to our other offices when required, though not frequent
