I have an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to join my client, who is a professional services body, to work as a HR & OD Partner. The role will require the individual to be the visible face of the HR department, and will therefore require them to be professional, and a trusted advisor. The HR & OD partner will be aligned to a particular departmental area and will take the people strategy and translate it into a plan for your area. I addition, they will deputise for the Head of HR & OD when required.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility for influencing and challenging senior leaders in the development and delivery of their people plans
  • Developing the people plan for their given area, ensuring that it delivers their areas objectives
  • Driving all annual HR programmes of work and change including performance management, reward, succession planning, and restructures
  • Working closely with ER partners to ensure that you are aware of current employee issues within your area
  • Identify resourcing issues and build talent action plans
  • Identify gaps in HR policies

You will have the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Generalist senior HR experience of partnering with colleagues at director level
  • Proven track record of planning and delivering HR strategic projects, and organisation
  • Successful record of building trust and credibility, influencing at executive director level
  • A good understanding of UK employment law
