I am seeking a highly commercial HR Business Partner/ Head of HR to shape and lead the people agenda within a fast paced organisation operating within the FMCG/Retail sector space. The organisation is currently in a transformative state and is looking for a cutting edge HR Business Partner to support the business as it undergoes change. Someone with experience of managing change who can uplift leadership capability and drive effectivenesss is highly desirable for the role. Critical requirements will include:

  • Business Partner the Director and their leadership team to help define their functional strategy
  • Develop and deliver a People Plan with the business area leadership which outlines achievable/ prioritised initiatives to improve measurable results.
  • Future proof the organisation with the right skills and capabilities by advising business leaders and agreeing activities for acquisition, succession, retention, early career and high potential development designed to improve business performance.
  • Act as a strategic partner to work with business leaders to deploy HR initiatives within their business area. Perform the lead role in culture, organisation design and effectiveness and change management.
  • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and drive business critical decisions
  • Work in a highly collaborative way to engage the business in critical initiatives on the people agenda.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience of working as an HR Business Partner within a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, including matrix relationships.
  • Extensive experience of driving a people agenda in a transformative environment
  • Communicates, challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders with an ability to build constructive relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Systemic approach to problem solving and able to convert proposals and ideas into a practical reality.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and understand commercial drivers.

  • API Test Lead (MQ/ Middleware)- Contract- London
    £350 - £400 per day

    I am currently looking for an experienced API Test Lead (MQ/ Middleware) join a top organisation based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    Responsibilities-

    • Leading a team of testers within a large organisation, ensuring that all deliverables are met
    • Prioritise several deliverables, whilst dealing with other priorities, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
    • Reviewing test environment configuration, availability and security to ensure smooth execution of E2E testing
    • Have strong hands on experience/ understanding of; business testing, regression testing, performance testing, smoke testing, system integration testing & production cutover
    • Recommend the appropriate tools and identify areas that are suitable for automation and manual
    • Work within an agile/ waterfall environment

    Essential skills/ experience

    • Prior experience leading E2E testing of applications
    • Strong experience with API (essential)
    • MQ/ Middleware experience
    • Experience leading the overarching design, development and delivery of large-scale testing engagements across a broad range of platforms and business areas
    • Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
    • Experience/ ability to deal with conflicts within teams
    • Strong understanding of SDLC
    • ISEB certified

  • Angular Developer - Contract - £500-£525 - London

    UI Developer - Angular - London - Contract - £525 per day (via Umbrella)

    A leading finance organisation is looking for a UI developer with strong Angular skills to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. Paying up to £525 per day (via an umbrella company or PAYE) who will be working from their state of the art City of London offices.

    The role is focussed on UI development, working closely with the development & business teams to enhance the current application landscape and bring new applications alive.

    Skills and Experience

    • 3 years of angular
    • Exposure to React
    • TypeScript
    • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • NPM and Node.js to build mocking test framework
    • A solid understanding of frontend architecture such as Single Page Applications
    • TDD and BDD knowledge
    • familiar with Agile and working in a scrum team
    • Angular E2E using cucumber, protractor or any testing framework would be advantageous
    • FS experience is a plus
