HR Manager - Fixed term contract

I am seeking an HR Manager to cover a 1 year maternity cover within my client who operates in the Fintech sector. They are seeking someone who can work autonomously and support on all aspects of HR at both an operational and strategic perspective.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the primary HR contact for Senior Managers and Directors for designated client group which comprises of around 250-300 people
  • Establishing strategic plans and objectives for the client group with a strong focus on talent and performance management
  • Engaging stakeholders within the business to effectively introduce people initiatives
  • Manage and participate in projects, change programmes, HR and organisational requirements across the full spectrum of HR and business activities
  • Work with HR colleagues based in global offices to ensure consistency in the implementation of HR and business initiatives where appropriate

As an ideal fit for this position you will have the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent, having worked within a financial services or fast paced corporate organisation as an HR Manager
  • Able to deliver high quality HR generalist support, including extensive knowledge of appropriate employment law and HR best practices and their practical application
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the areas of change and strategic consulting, performance management, reward management, people development, talent management resourcing and ER/engagement
  • Evidence of strong professional network and continuous personal development
  • Ability to coach line managers and influence as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes
  • Credibility to influence and successfully challenge line managers
