HR Manager

45000.00 per year - 50000 per year

Seeking a stand-alone HR Manager to run the HR function for a small and fast paced fin-tech firm of 50 people. The role has a strong emphasis on resourcing as hiring takes up around 75% of the role with the remainder of the time supporting the broader HR piece and office management.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the whole recruitment process across all divisions in the business using various techniques.
  • Be responsible for the induction process
  • Ensure KPI's are adhered to of the hiring process, while ensuring the candidate experience is positive.
  • Analyse the data behind the recruitment initiatives and provide creative support on recommendations to streamline performance.
  • Drive Capital on Tap to the summit of places to work
  • Attract candidates to Capital on Tap through innovation and creativity.
  • Manage employee relations encompassing grievances, disciplinaries and other ER issues that occur
  • Implement and develop HR policies and procedures that align with current legislation.
  • Incentivise the workforce by ensuring benefits are delivered
  • Ensuring payroll is maintained
  • Ensure the managers are in sync with performance management procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the office
  • Organise and deliver company events
  • Ensure the office is stocked with supplies
  • Oversee any additional works done to the office internally and externally
  • Take responsibility for post, couriers and deliveries.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a 360-recruitment role, preferably having worked previously as a recruitment consultant
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Very organised
  • Target driven
  • Capable of dealing with multiple responsibilities
  • HR qualification desirable, but not essential

    Skills and experience

    • Paralegal experience
    • Experience in counterparty and other markets contracts e.g. trading agreements, terms of business
    • Experience in OTC derivatives trading documentation, such as ISDAs, GMRAs, FBFs and DRVs
    • Financial services experience, ideally in an in-house role
