My client is seeking a strong Programme Finance Lead to join a large financial services institution on 6 month contract. The Finance Lead will be responsible for all the communication and education workstreams, In addition to implementing strong cost management, and working closely with project managers and other workstream leads within the programme. It is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation where the individual is able to make a strong impact within the business.

The role responsibilities are:

  • Responsibility of program budgeting process
  • Business case preparation
  • Cost reporting and management reports
  • Develop relationships with Key stakeholders to create effective communication
  • Develop a broad understanding of the programme and global operating model
  • Manage cost spend to ensure that it is in line with the approved business case

My client is seeking someone with the following experience:

  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Recently qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
  • Management accounting/reporting experience within Financial services
  • Strong Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards requirements
  • Proven success in driving projects to be completed in a timely manner with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in a complex, global, and culturally diverse environment
  • Proficient at using PMO tools
  • Very strong experience of working within a banking environment
  • Experience in working in change projects
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and high level influencing skills
