I am currently looking for a Market Data Administrator to join a hedge fund based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Responsibilities:

Being responsible for all aspects of market data procurement and administration including:

Understanding the market data provider landscape

Analysing new and existing internal business requirements

Assist the IT team to design the most appropriate internal distribution and access models for the data, including influencing the architectural design of new IT systems

Understanding data usage requirements of the firm's internal trading systems

Reporting of data usage to providers

Day-to-day responsibilities including:

Administer user access to data feeds

Manage workflow for approval and procurement of data to meet new business requirements

Periodic audit of user requirements and data provision

Essential Experience and Skills:

Experienced Market Data Administrator

Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal, SAPI and BPIPE and other data feed systems

Knowledge of exchange and 3rd party data vendors across a broad range of asset classes

Ability to understand Real-time and historical data

Permanent

£70,000- £90,000 (plus 30-50% bonus)

Location- London

  • Data Analytics Manager - SC Cleared

    Data & Analytics Lead/Manager required to work on a contract basis for a 6 month inital term very likely to be extended for the long term.

    Techically we require the following:

    • Advanced Data and Statistical Analytics experience ideally SAS Analytics/BASE but my client will consider a similar statistical analytic platform/tool such as R, or SPSS.
    • Python desirable.
    • Advanced SQL scripting and analytics, highly desirable RDBMS BI Skills in Oracle or SQL Server, inclusive of their BI Stack tools, such as Oracle ODI, OBIEE, PLSQL, SQL SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, TSQL.
