Digital Ops Analyst (App/Production Specialist)

The existing digital team are looking bring on their own dedicated application/production support specialist.

This role is a mix of production support & DevOps, and the post holder will have knowledge of latest technologies such as Splunk and an understanding of architecture to be able to set up or work on configuration.

You must have experience with modern web technology including Splunk and Azure.

Role Overview

You will be the key contact point between Digital and the Shared Services group including Support & Infrastructure.

You will be responsible for helping to manage infrastructure migrations and reviewing application performance.

The role requires a highly capable digital professional with extensive technology & operational process experience to help manage an evolving Digital platform.

Key Duties

  • Support Capability (Product) Owners to ensure the company has the necessary capabilities of a highly Digital platform.
  • Manage 'Digital led' multi-team infrastructure based projects, e.g. infrastructure refits, migration to Azure, etc.
  • Co-ordinate Digital activities, e.g. define and manage Digital activities needed to implement a robust Support & DevOps model.
  • Define and manage application operational performance.
  • Accountable for ensuring the operational aspects of the committed PI Objectives & Sprint Objectives are met.
  • Working with other Agile teams & shared service teams to communicate and manage dependencies.
  • Participating enthusiastically and effectively in the company's Agile ceremonies.

Essential Experience

  • Previous Application/Production Support.
  • Working in Agile delivery methodologies, ideally SAFe.
  • Use of latest technology: Azure, Splunk, API's, micro-services, Cloud technology, big data.
  • Experience of infrastructure needed to support modern web technology, e.g. Azure
  • Operational tools that help monitor platform and application performance
  • DevOps.

Qualification

  • Educated to at least undergraduate degree level.

  • Internal Auditor
    £45000 - £65000 per annum

    They are looking for an Auditor to join their team as, at present, it is outsourced to the Big 4. This is a stand alone role, which has excellent progression and exposure to senior stakeholders in the UK and China as well as exposure to different areas of the business. The candidate should have strong Audit experience as well as being fluent in Mandarin as there will be lots of communicating with the Head Office.


    The Internal audit Function provides internal audit for the London branch fulfilling the third line of defence and review of the branches business operations. This role will grow into a SMF role in 2 years’ time.


    Responsibility

    • Carry out risk based audits across the business and other projects as assigned by senior management, to provide assurance that material risks faced by the bank are being adequately managed;
    • Execute and help to develop the London branch Internal audit plan;
    • Support the continual development of the internal audit methodology;
    • Audit various business areas of the bank in line with strategic instructions;
    • Assess, identify and report any issues of weakness within control and devise remediating solutions for any issues found;
    • Work alongside internal departments to analyse issues and formulate resolutions
    • Ensure our internal audit process and reports are aligned with local regulations and Head Office’s requirements;
    • Other Ad hoc duties as required


    Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher;
    • Minimum 2 years internal audit / internal audit experience gained within banking environment, ideally within international branch;
    • Exposure to wholesale and corporate banking activities;
    • Good report writing and communication skills;
    • Demonstrable good understand of audit and up-to-date technical knowledge;


    The Successful Applicant
    The successful candidate for this role will have the following exposure:

    • CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA qualified preferred, or working towards these qualifications;
    • Working experience in top auditing firm viewed favourably but not essential;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
    • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
    • Results and detail focussed.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Willing to do international travel to our other offices when required, though not frequent
