Trainee Recruitment Consultant - London

£20000 - £23000 per annum Commission

McGregor Boyall are currently looking to hire Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join the London Business. If successful, you will receive full 360 training which will include headhunting, account management, business development, coupled with 1 on 1 sessions with sector specialists. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to progress through the ranks at speed, as you will be given the opportunity to progress to Consultant within 6 to 9 months.

The role:

Recruitment is a two way sales role, where you will be building relationships with both candidates and clients alike. You will initially be liaising with candidates and clients in order to build your network within the industry. You will be advertising externally on behalf of your clients in order to attract new candidates. There will be set KPI’s you will be expected to meet, which you will receive full support for.

    Location: city of London

    Ideally looking for candidate with hands on Software Development/Technical Background.

    • Strong experience as a BAPM, or ex-Software Developer with relevant experience in a financial markets environment
    • Experience in defining and executing end-to-end tests on complex systems
    • Experience in defining and detailing acceptance criteria
    • Experience with working with in-house development teams ( Fixed income & Equities trading)
    • Experience working in an Agile delivery methodology

    £100000 - £125000 per annum bonus

    Java Fixed Income E Trading Developer – Greenfield Pricing – VP up to £125k

    Role Overview:

    An experienced core java developer is required to join a rapidly expanding Fixed Income e trading team in London. The role will involve a greenfield re-architecture of their pricing platform as well as other functionality. Given the seniority of the role you will be expected to play an active role in discussions around design and architecture, as well as having the opportunity to provide technical leadership. The role will also provide extensive exposure to the front office/trading, where you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Quants on their pricing models.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £100k and £125k, plus benefits and bonus.

    Requirements Summary:

    • Strong core java developer
    • Multi-threading, performance tuning, Python
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience within the front office highly desirable
    • Strong academics (Comp Sci or Maths preferred)
