Our client a leading global wealth management organisation is looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager with a background gained within large financial institute or a global corporation. You will need senior level experience in an internal communications role with excellent leadership, stakeholder management and relationship building skills.

You will develop campaigns to be communicated internally following M&A, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business including c-suite.

  • Develop and implement internal communications activities for specific businesses/ change programmes
  • You will work on communications following a rebrand
  • Provide internal communications support to CEO, and various senior business leaders and across functions
  • Develop communications strategy ensuring good understanding of CEO plans
  • Own delivery of change comms projects
  • Working closely/ develop strong relationships across the business

Experience required

  • Current/ recent senior level internal communications experience gained in a large global corporate ideally within financial services
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills working with c-suite
  • Experience of developing comms strategy following rebrand/ M&A / divestment / transformation
  • Excellent strategic and project management skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

The postholder will be responsible for developing and implementing a global communications strategy. This client is a global loyalty and benefits company, who enable the world’s biggest brands to acquire, engage and retain their customers. They have worked with over 90 airlines, 20 hotel groups and more than 1400 financial institutions and banks with a range of products and solutions.

They now need a Marketing Manager to work with one of their travel insurance brands to deliver the B2C marketing plan and report to the Head of Marketing.

You will:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing and wider team to develop an integrated marketing strategy to grow the business through acquiring and retaining the most profitable customer mix.
  • Deliver an integrated marketing plan and calendar of activities across online and offline marketing channels.
  • Develop and deliver the PR strategy, working with our PR agency and internal commercial manager, building brand awareness through the development of press releases, reactive news jumps and management of submissions for industry awards.
  • Manage the social media presence through the development and implementation of a social media strategy and work with the Marketing Executive to execute.
  • Define, monitor and improve customer lifecycle activity to maximise revenue per customer.
  • Develop, implement and look for ways to continually improve our email strategy across customer acquisition, engagement, retention and reactivation to ensure every touchpoint is optimised.
  • Manage all customer communications including quote, policy and renewal comms.
  • Be aware of all compliance and regulatory processes, and ensure all campaigns are compliant with FCA standards and other relevant regulations e.g. IDD, ASA, and GDPR.
  • Manage and mentor Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant.

To be successful, you will be a strong B2C marketer, experienced in financial services, with experience delivering acquisition, retention and reactivation campaigns across multiple online and offline channels. You’ll be experienced in working collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders and external agencies to build brand awareness, acquire new customers and retain existing customers.
