Employee Communications Manager- Financial services


£60-£70k bonus, bens

Our client a leading and successful Financial Services organisation is looking for an internal communications professional. You will act in a business partner capacity, working with very senior level stakeholders to develop and implement internal communications / employee communications activities;

  • Develop and own the end-to-end delivery of the communications strategies and plans
  • Develop and deliver communication approaches to help senior stakeholders engage with their audiences
  • Develop messages to bring the story to life, in alignment with the functional and company-wide narratives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of approaches and channels in achieving strategic objectives, and recommend and implement improvements
  • Prepare communications on a wide range of issues, translating business messages into inspiring and compelling communications
  • Organise a series of high profile events on time and to budget

Experience required:

  • Solid current/recent experience in employee communications gained in either a financial services organisation or a large corporate environment
  • Experience in delivering complex employee communications strategies
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, comfortable working with (and ideally experience of) senior level stakeholders
  • Experience working in "business partner" capacity in employee comms eg.partnering with functional areas (such as Operations, Technology, Procurement, Compliance, Risk etc) or partnering with business areas will be an advantage but is not essential
  • Good writing skills
