An industry-funded not-for-profit are looking for a Head of Marketing to develop their brand and raise awareness to parents in the digital world. Their goal is to empower them to keep their children safe while using the internet and so they provide a range of resources, support and advice to tackle the issues that may be affecting their children every day.

They partner with the biggest players in the UK digital industry but also work with partners in government and the third sector. In this role, you will report to the CEO and will be instrumental in developing the brand, marketing and campaign strategy for the organisation.

You will:

  • Develop the annual campaign strategy while closely considering the marketing budget.
  • Manage the agencies for creative productions and media planning.
  • Collaborate with all of the partners/members and maximise the reach of this not-for-profit in their customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure the marketing and PR activity is coordinated and maximises exposure of the brand.
  • Manage the participation and engagement in consumer events.
  • Own the brand guidelines, creative identity and tone of voice to ensure the consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Line manage two direct reports, a Senior Marketing Manager and a Marketing Executive.

To be considered, you will have:

  • Genuine interest in e-safety and the risks that children may be exposed to.
  • Detailed knowledge of the communications planning process.
  • Digital marketing experience, i.e. developing web pages, content and social channels.
  • Demonstrable experience leading marketing activity across a number of offline & online channels.
  • The ability to manage & influence internal & external stakeholders across a number of different levels.
  • Experienced measuring digital activity & performance.
  • Confidence managing significant budgets with complete autonomy.
